Adding Users

Adding a user is made to be a simple process.

To track a new user with DisPing using the /config command, follow these steps:

  1. Type the Command: In the Discord server where DisPing is present (and you can manage the server), open the chat or text channel where you want to track the new user. Type the slash command /config to initiate the configuration process.

  2. Select a Social on the Type Dropdown: After typing /config, DisPing will display a type select with different options. Look for the social you'd like to configure among the choices presented and select it. This choice indicates that you want to configure tracking for a social media account or profile. When your command looks similar to the picture below, press the enter key.

  1. Choose "Add User" from the Dropdown Menu: Once you sent the command, DisPing will present you with a message. From this message, interact with the dropdown menu and choose the "Add User" option. This selection indicates that you want to add a new user to track their social media activity.

  1. Enter the User's URL: After selecting "Add User", DisPing will show a modal or prompt asking you to enter the URL of the user's social media account that you want to track. After entering the URL, please tap submit. For example, if you want to track a user's Twitter activity, you would enter the URL of their Twitter profile.

Congratulations! You added your first user to DisPing. You can now go back to Config to finish the setup.
